were plural nouns was  singular nouns

Example 1-Where were Max and Lulu?
They were at the garden.
2- Where was Ahmad?
He was at the mall.

How to add not ( negative)****
*They were not at the garden.
*He was not at the mall.

Pupils book –page (8-11) { past simple }
Form:
Statement Subject + verb2…
-She played tennis.
-They sang funny songs.

Negative Subject + did not+ verb1…
-She did not play tennis
-They did not sing funny songs.

Question Did + subject+ verb1…? ( yes,..did /no,..didnot)
-Did she play tennis?
-Did they sing funny songs?


Pupils book –page (12-13) {comparison + superlative }
Comparison:* If the adjective consist from one syllable
we add er ( small  smaller)
-The mouse is smaller than the cat.

Superlative: * If the adjective consist from one syllable
we add est (strong  strongest)
is the strongest animal in the zoo. Lion-



page (14) {like/likes } Pupils book-
When you want to put the verb ( like/likes )in the sentences
It depends on the subject:
Singular subject you put likes ( She likes swimming ).
Plural subject you put like ( They like dancing ).

page (16+17) {some/any} Pupils book-
some  countable nouns : nouns that I can count it. {books}
-There were some books on the desk.

any  uncountable nouns : nouns that I can't count it. {water}
-There wasn’t any water.

Form :
Subject + is going to + verb 1…..
are
Examples:
1-Laila is going to wear skirt and T-shirt.
2-They are going to play football.

must +verb1
must not+verb1

Examples:
